In Echoes of Fire, a raw and deeply human portrait is depicted of one man`s experience in the Vietnam War and the devastating impact it leaves behind, both on the battlefield and at home. Sergeant Kenneth Bennett Sr. is a soldier doing his duty in a brutal and unforgiving war. But while he faces fear, chaos, and violence overseas, another battle is quietly unfolding back home. His long absences strain the bonds of family, leaving his wife and children to carry the weight of uncertainty, distance, and emotional loss.

Kenneth Bennet Sr., a Vietnam War veteran, carries the
weight of battles fought on foreign soil and the scars of a
war that forever changed him.
But beyond the horrors of the battlefield, another
struggle quietly raged within his soul. A devout Mormon,
Ken`s faith once anchored him through the tumultuous
storms of life.
However, the atrocities witnessed during his service in
Vietnam shattered his belief in the divine.
Now, haunted by the memories of war and disillusioned by
his loss of faith, Ken embarks on a journey to reconcile his
past, searching for meaning in a world where his once
unshakable convictions have crumbled like ancient ruins.

Ken Bennett Jr. has written a remarkable debut novel. One that is raw, vivid, emotional, and deeply affecting. From the first pages, I felt pulled into the world of the book with unusual intensity.
Have not even finished the first charter yet and so good, great story!.
Not being a native speaker I had to lookup quite a few words in the text to fully understand and appreciate the style and descriptions of nature, food, colors, decors, emotions and so on. It was definitely worth the effort.
